Jason Bessler

I hope that my own work can inspire others, just as all of the artist I have included in this blog have inspired me one way or another. Here is a sample of my work. I still love Illustration, but I have also found fulfillment exploring photography and abstract digital collage. I have always enjoyed trying new things and working in a variety of media and styles. I am a bit all over the place… I hope you can find inspiration in my work! See more at http://www.jasonbessler.com or http://www.beyondaglance.etsy.com

Imagination of Victorior

WANCHANA INTRASOMBAT, or, Victorior has an amazing talent for illustration and animation. He creates beautiful cartoonish worlds and characters with his “cute” cartoonish style that is anything but simple. The amount of beautiful details draws you in and and makes it hard to look away. I love his work, and only hope that I can be inspired by this artist’s vast imagination.

Daniel Danger

Daniel is an illustrator and printmaker who creates very moody work. His pallet is often simple with limited colors and a lot of black. There is a gloomy haunted feel to his work. He uses imagery of broken down or deserted buildings or structures such as theme park rides and roller coasters. His work also appears gloomy because the setting is usually during the night or dusk, giving his work the faint glow of the moon or the setting sun. His work is successful in creating moods, and it is obvious in his work that lighting is important to him.

Tiago Hoisel

Tiago’s art speaks for itself. He is an awesome artist with a creative imagination and a great sense of humor. His work is very entertaining, detailed and, beautifully executed. He also has a great skill for caricatures and distorting images.

Arthur Rackham

Arthur has created very busy work with a lot of beautiful line work. His use and understanding of line seemed to be important in his work, but he also focussed on a very limited color pallet of very earthy colors. Most of his work is based off of fairy tales such as Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and Peter Pan. He has been dead for many years now, but his work will continue to live on.

Alex Pardee

Alex has a very interesting style where he uses a lot of washes and drips of color with a black outline to define his imagery. He uses bright, fun, inviting colors, but his imagery is often disturbing and creepy. His twisted imagination makes for very unique and creative body of work.
